Mother & Son

Born under our bedroom window, we watched this guy grow up and will be sad to see him go believe it or not! he's getting his wings and should be off any day now. Mom has no feet, I mean really. None, but she makes due and has been faithfully attending his progress and patiently waiting for him to get on with it. I never thought a pigeon would have a personality but the little guy is downright sweet and curious and completely unafraid of us. He stands at our window and taps it with his beak when he wants attention...he is St. Pigeon.
